BROADENING THE AUDIENCE OF
AN ELECTROACOUSTIC MUSIC
FESTIVAL, AGAIN ?


Mandate

Revisit the identity of the Akousma event and develop its communication tools.

Background

The festival usually attracts a very specific audience composed mainly of people working in the electronic music industry (artists, teachers, students). Akousma wanted to attract a new target for the event: individuals from the audience of electronic music shows, contemporary dance fans, and those who are curious and open to new musical discoveries. 

Execution

Inspired by the customary graphics used to promote electronic music performances, the visual developed for the festival helped position it as a hip and current event, making it more accessible. A poster, a general program and five evenings of performance were produced.
